Why I’m Building in Public
Over the past year, I’ve been quietly constructing a small empire—brand by brand, system by system. From launching a premium cleaning company to rebranding a fashion label, every move I’ve made has been rooted in clarity, experimentation, and relentless learning. But I don’t want to build behind the scenes.
This post is a transparent breakdown of what it really looks like to build brands in public—unfiltered, unscripted, and updated as I go. If you’re an entrepreneur, side hustler, or creative strategist, this is your blueprint.
The Brands I’m Building
- Milo & Ellie Cleaning Services
Based in Tampa Bay, this premium cleaning service started as a local venture and is evolving into a scalable commercial brand. With a modern aesthetic, AI-powered booking, and a commitment to quality, we’re redefining what “cleaning company” means. - Yianca (formerly Luxabi)
This is more than a fashion rebrand. Yianca blends minimalism, bold femininity, and clean storytelling to create a fashion-forward experience rooted in identity, confidence, and clarity. - BFCM.com & BFCM.store
Built to dominate Black Friday and Cyber Monday SEO, these two digital platforms serve as both deal directories and brand amplification hubs during the busiest shopping season of the year. - Cookable AI
An AI-powered recipe platform that lets users input ingredients and receive dish ideas instantly. This project taps into both utility and fun, with a future roadmap toward app-based expansion.
Wins Worth Highlighting
- Secured our first commercial cleaning contract through hyper-local targeting and relationship building.
- Built a custom WordPress-Zenbooker integration that automates bookings and syncs data effortlessly.
- Created SEO-first content across brand sites, driving organic impressions and keyword growth.
- Rebranded Luxabi into Yianca, with sharper visual identity and clearer audience targeting.
Losses, Missteps & Lessons Learned

- Time Splits Are Brutal: Managing multiple brands solo isn’t sexy—it’s strategic war. Prioritization is everything.
- Not Every Tool Is Built for You: We lost time and budget testing out platforms that didn’t scale.
- Perfect Delays Progress: Some branding work took too long because I aimed for flawless instead of launch-ready.
- Burnout Is Quiet: When you work across multiple verticals, mental fatigue sneaks in silently. Protect your energy.

Why I’m Sharing This
Too many people think entrepreneurship is about one perfect launch or one viral idea. That’s not real. I’m building brands in public to show the actual process: the pivots, the plateaus, the small wins that add up.
If you’re thinking about launching something—start documenting now. Transparency isn’t just honest. It’s strategic. People invest in journeys, not just finished products.
