Nestled just six miles from Walt Disney World, The Grove Resort & Water Park is a sprawling 106-acre sanctuary that offers a tranquil break from the outside world. It’s perfect for families like ours who are always on the go and love to explore new places but also cherish quiet moments together.
From the moment we checked in (which, by the way, is flexible and runs until 2:00 am – a bonus for late-night travelers), we were immersed in the world of luxury, comfort, and endless fun. The spacious two and three-bedroom suites felt like a home away from home, complete with fully equipped kitchens, multiple bathrooms, and screened balconies – perfect for those quiet morning coffees while soaking in the resort views.
Now, let’s talk about the fun stuff – the resort’s hearty collection of amenities that keep the kids (and adults!) entertained. The Surfari Water Park was a massive hit with our little ones. From the activity pool with multiple slides to the lazy river stretching 695 feet, there was something for everyone. And let’s not forget the FlowRider Double surf simulator – I may or may not have tried to show off my “surfing skills”!
For those seeking some indoor fun, Flip Flop’s Family Fun Center is a state-of-the-art arcade that even features glow-in-the-dark mini-golf. A fun twist on a family favorite!
But what stood out to us was the commitment to offer a holistic experience. The resort’s Lake Austin Pier, Escape Spa, 24-hour fitness center, and children’s activity center meant that we could mix relaxation and adventure in equal measure.
And the food? Let’s just say we were spoilt for choice. From the Alfresco Market to the Valencia Restaurant, the variety and quality of food served were top-notch.
What I personally loved about The Grove Resort & Water Park was the seamless blend of nature and luxury. The resort is set on Lake Austin and is part of Central Florida’s conservation grounds. This eco-conscious setting, combined with the luxuries of a full-service resort, is truly a unique experience.
At the end, our stay at The Grove Resort & Water Park was nothing short of magical. It was the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure, of luxury and nature, of family time and individual activities. If you’re a family with young kids looking for a memorable vacation, I can’t recommend The Grove Resort & Water Park enough.
Until next time, keep adventuring!
